We believe that parents/carers are their child/rens first educators and we undertake to encourage full participation and involvement in our work. It is crucial to ensure the transition between home and the Nursery is almost seamless.
We will ensure that all parent/carers are kept fully informed on a regular basis. One of the ways this will be implemented is by having an assigned key worker, who will carryout the following:
- Observe the development of your child/ren.
- Having a settling procedure for children and parent/carers.
- Parents/carers are welcome to have a quick chat at ‘drop off’ or collection time with their key worker.
- Provide a daily information book for children under 2’s for example sleep times, feeding and general progress.
