With a fully qualified (SENCO) coordinator, every child’s needs are met no matter their abilities.
We are a fully inclusive nursery, we cater for all children on an individual basis. If your child has an additional need then you can be assured that they are attending a suitable environment that provides many sensory activities and activities which enhance your child’s development, depending on the needs of your child is.
We make regular observations on children to allow us to assess the needs of the child and we include individual children on our planning.
We have a qualified Special Needs Coordinator (SENCO) on site at all times. We also ensure that we send our staff on training to enable them to support children with an additional need. Our SENCO will assist the room leader in devising an individual education plan for your child. On the individual education plan we will set your child achievable targets and help the child to meet these targets by supporting and providing opportunities for this. You can also be assured that we will maintain regular contact with you and any other outside agencies who are supporting your child.
